The owners of this historic, but dilapidated Ashland house had a grand vision for bringing back the structure and charm of this small Queen Anne to be used as a guesthouse for family and friends. The shell was retained, but the remainder of the house gutted. The project included a small rear two-story addition, but the main focus was to bring back the physical and architectural features of this late 1800’s home. Along with the builder and interior designer, historic paint colors, architectural features, and door and window details were researched extensively to restore the character of this historic Ashland home.
